The Tac-Fit program is dynamic, progressive and builds on itself. Scott Sonnan advances the program with a few core movements at a time that becoming increasingly difficult.

This program is all bodyweight, which I really like.  There were no weights, bands or balls to purchase to participate in his program. Just bring your body and push play.

Tac Fit Commando is a multi-phase program. This means as you get better and more fit, the workouts get more difficult. New moves are built on moves that were learned in the phase before, so its progressive. I liked this because, as I became familiar with the moves  the workouts progressed so I always felt challenged.

Army Combatives School Recognizes Scott’s TACFIT Principles As Cutting Edge!

”Coach Sonnon is truly an original. As a pioneer in both the application of the newest sports science and as a connection and filter to the best techniques of the past, he has made an immeasurable contribution to our program of instruction here at the Army combatives school. By combining an intimate knowledge of biomechanically efficient movement, the physiological capabilities and weaknesses of the human body, and both fighting and fitness, he is helping to revolutionize the modern combatives world.”

The nutrition plan is built on the idea that “The food eaten today fuels the workout of tomorrow.” Tac Tac Fit Commando has a 4 day diet cycle. It’s simple enough once you get the hang of it. However, if you are not used to controlling what you eat this will come as a highly effective shock to the system as a cleanse. Nothing packaged and no sugar or preservatives. Its  great bump in energy and discipline.

tacfit commando workout-reviewI really enjoyed  the High intensity training days on the Tac-Fit schedule.  Like the diet, the Tac Fit Commando  training days are on a 4 day cycle as well.  Low, medium, high intensity days and the 4th is a rest day.  It seemed to work out pretty well. However, this is  meant to be a 3 month training program like boot camp, and these “rules” are only  to be followed during those 3 months.  Tac-Fit asks for an all in approach. So try and incorporate high calorie days with high intensity workouts.

Scott kept my body and mind up and running through out every stage.  I  really appreciated Tac-MIT’s approach to instruction. There are 2 separate dvd’s . One is instruction only, a step by step guide to every movement and how the body should be responding.  The second DVD is just the workout, so I was able to run through the movements in an efficient manner without having to hear the same repetitive instruction.

Over all Scott Sonnan did an amazing job putting together Tac Fit Commando.  This is a comprehensive and effective training tool that you’ll want to keep handy.  I like it because the results are solid. It doesn’t feel trendy. This is a workout system that I will return to again and again.
