I had the opportunity to finish Healthy Carb Cookbook for Dummies. It was an interesting and helpful read. Ive been using the low carb diet off and on for 5 or so years. The basics reviewed in the book I was already familiar with, but would be helpful for someone who was new to the low carb diet. I really appreciated the emphasis on healthy carbs, as opposed to trying to lose weight/gain muscle on fatty beef and cheese. The recipes were a breath of fresh air. I have a routine and mundane diet, and the flavorful and easy recipes were simple to follow and make. My only criticism would be the amount of information on what healthy carbs are and how they work. This is partly because of my own previous knowledge, I was more interested in the recipes. It was good to review the information and, again, would be good for someone who was new to the diet or needed a refresher course in how to use this tool. I give Healthy Carb Cookbook For Dummies the 2 gun salute!
